Bradenton, FL—Turning Points is spreading holiday cheer and warmth with its One Warm Coat Giveaway event on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at its headquarters, 701 17th Ave West, Bradenton. The event promises to be a heartwarming celebration of community spirit, generosity, and support for individuals and families in need.
The One Warm Coat Giveaway is more than just a chance to stay warm this winter—it's an event designed to foster joy and community connection. Thanks to a generous donation from Goodwill Manasota, over 2,000 coats for men, women, and children will be available. Alongside the free coats, children attending the event will receive books and toys to take home, ensuring smiles and memories for the holiday season.
Attendees will also enjoy complimentary snacks and an array of fun activities, including face painting and games, making this a festive outing for the whole family. Additionally, the event offers an opportunity to connect with local organizations and access valuable community resources.
Participating Partners Making an Impact
This year’s event will feature a robust lineup of community partners, including Aetna, Goodwill Manasota, the Early Learning Coalition, Manatee Literacy Council, MCR Health, Ringling College of Art & Design, Soar In 4, the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, and St. Vincent de Paul. Representatives from Turning Points’ Health Center Team and Community Resource Department will also be on-site, offering insights into the organization’s comprehensive services.
Grateful for Local Support
The event is made possible by the remarkable generosity of local businesses and organizations that participated in coat collection drives. Their contributions are directly improving lives, providing much-needed warmth and comfort to the community.
