Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued for Golden Tree Subdivision Residents

Manatee County Utilities Department has announced a scheduled water service interruption for residents in the Golden Tree subdivision, located at 5505 through 5631 39th Street East. This is to facilitate a Water Main Tie-in scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2025. The water service will be shut off from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

After service is restored, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice will go into effect. Residents are advised to boil all water intended for drinking or cooking for at least one minute to ensure safety. Alternatively, bottled water may be used during this time.

The precautionary notice will remain in effect until water safety is confirmed through a bacteriological survey, which typically takes 24 to 48 hours. Once the water is deemed safe for consumption, a rescinding notice will be issued.
