Motorcyclist Dies in Tragic State Road 70 Accident

BRADENTON, Fla. – A fatal accident occurred on State Road 70 on Monday afternoon, claiming the life of a 20-year-old motorcyclist from Palmetto.

The crash unfolded as a 42-year-old man in a vehicle was waiting to turn across the eastbound lanes of SR-70 onto Manor Hill Lane East. In the process, the vehicle crossed into the path of the motorcyclist, leading to a collision with the rear of the car.

The impact left the motorcyclist with severe injuries. He was swiftly transported to the hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
