Manatee Sheriff's Office looking to identify teen

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY: On 7/17/24 at about 2 p.m., the individual pictured, possibly a juvenile (approximately 17 years old), came to the fire station at 6100 15th St. E., Bradenton. She told deputies she goes by Shai Fletcher or Mathew Byrd and says she left her home due to an argument with family but has not been able to provide any verifiable contact information or address for her parent(s)/guardian(s) or explain how she got to the fire station.

She is currently safe, but anyone with information on her identity is asked to contact Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mark Morie at (941) 747-3011.
