Manatee County Delivers Treats Despite Mother Nature’s Tricks
MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Oct. 23, 2024) — Despite a series of storms this hurricane season, Manatee County's premier family-friendly Halloween experience is gearing up to celebrate the spooky season this coming Friday.
The 22nd annual Goblin Gathering will be held in the wooded area of G.T. Bray Park October 25, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m. Local businesses and community partners will be passing out “treats & sweets” to participants, providing a safe alternative for families to trick-or-treat.
The original date was scheduled for Friday, October 11, 2024, but Hurricane Milton’s landfall just days prior forced a postponement.
Fortunately, grounds crews were able to clear the debris, and organizers have brought back the bounce houses, face painting, petting zoo, magician, and plenty of free candy for the rescheduled event
