Manatee County Cancels October 19 Household Hazardous Waste and E-Scrap Collection Event

Manatee County has announced the cancellation of the special monthly Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronics (E-Scrap) Collection event, scheduled to take place this Saturday, October 19, at the Manatee County Landfill on Lena Road. Originally planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will no longer be held as planned.

The County is very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and does appreciate residents' understanding in light of this change. Although this particular collection event is canceled, residents are reminded to drop off hazardous household waste and electronic scrap at the Lena Road Landfill from Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
