Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) Announces Hourly Fixed-Route Bus Service for the Week
Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) has resumed hourly fixed-route bus service, running daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the remainder of the week. The schedule includes a range of routes to accommodate essential travel needs within the county, though some adjustments have been made to regular service.
The following routes are now operating on an hourly basis:
Route 1 (Palmetto-Ellenton): Service from Downtown Bradenton to the Ellenton Outlet Mall.
Route 2 (East Bradenton-Samoset): East Bradenton to Samoset area, with hourly departures.
Route 3 (Manatee Avenue East and West): Two buses hourly, though service to Anna Maria Island is currently unavailable.
Route 4 (9th Avenue East): Route from Downtown Bradenton to Walmart on State Road 70.
Route 5 (AMI Trolley): Hourly service, but with no connecting routes.
Route 6 (Cortez Road): Service from DeSoto Mall to 75th St. W. and Blake Hospital.
Route 8 (Oneco Bayshore): Operating hourly throughout the day.
Route 12 (State Road 70): Connecting areas along State Road 70 with hourly service.
Route 16 (15th St E/Tallevast): Provides service along 15th St E to Tallevast Road.
Route 99 (US 41-14th St W): Offers connections to Sarasota Breeze Service at SRQ, with two buses per hour.
Route 201 and Route 13 (Palmetto-Rubonia): Services connect at Walmart or Palmetto Station.
Route 203 (Pinellas VA at Bay Pines): Following a regular schedule.
