Groundbreaking Ceremony Kicks Off Premier Sports Campus North's New Athletics & Aquatics Center

The much-anticipated Athletics & Aquatics Center at Premier Sports Campus North officially broke ground yesterday, marking the start of a project that promises to bring state-of-the-art recreational amenities to East County residents and sports enthusiasts.

The 44,000-square-foot facility will feature a competition-sized swimming pool, a therapy pool, and modern locker rooms and restrooms. A geothermal yard will also be part of the innovative design, ensuring energy-efficient operations.

In addition to aquatic facilities, the center will boast 24 pickleball courts, with 14 of them covered to accommodate play in all weather conditions. The surrounding grounds will include walking trails, offering fitness and leisure opportunities, and parking for approximately 166 vehicles to accommodate visitors.

The new center is set to become a hub for local sports and community activities, enhancing the recreational landscape of East County.
