Bradenton has a new sweet spot for dessert lovers. The Peach Cobbler Factory, a dessert-themed restaurant chain known for its Southern-inspired treats, has opened a location at 629 Cortez Road W. The franchise, which operates in over 100 locations across 19 states and Washington D.C., is the latest addition to the area's dining scene.

The new restaurant is owned by Bradenton resident Michael Lehan, a former NFL defensive back who played six seasons with the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, and New Orleans Saints. With its signature slogan, "It’s a Southern Thang," The Peach Cobbler Factory offers a variety of cobblers, banana puddings, cinnamon rolls, and other indulgent treats.

Lehan's decision to bring the popular chain to Bradenton adds to the city’s growing reputation as a culinary destination, offering locals and visitors a taste of Southern comfort. The restaurant's arrival is expected to attract dessert enthusiasts eager to try its unique and flavorful offerings.
