Driver Charged After Child and Adult Injured in Bradenton Bicycle Accident

Bradenton, FL — A driver has been charged following a collision that left an 8-year-old child and a 32-year-old woman injured on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred near Oneco Elementary School at around 8:30 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash took place at the intersection of 53rd Avenue East and 22nd Street East, where a pickup truck, pulling out of a driveway, struck a bicycle traveling along the sidewalk.
