Caddy’s Bradenton Riverwalk Closes Permanently After Hurricane Milton Devastation
Bradenton, FL – Caddy’s Bradenton Riverwalk, a popular waterfront dining spot, has permanently closed its doors following significant damage from Hurricane Milton. The Category 3 storm made landfall near Siesta Key on October 9, leaving destruction in its wake, including at the Riverwalk location, where the storm destroyed the tiki hut of one of the restaurant’s two bars.
The closure has now been listed as permanent on the company's official website, marking the end of an era for the Bradenton site.
Caddy’s, a well-known local chain, has been forced to temporarily close its other locations as well. Restaurants in Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, Indian Shores, and John’s Pass are all listed as temporarily closed after being impacted by two hurricanes in recent months—first by Hurricane Helene and now by Hurricane Milton.
Despite these challenges, Caddy’s has not indicated any closures beyond the Bradenton location, and it is expected that repairs will begin at its other sites once the damage assessments are complete. The restaurant chain has been a beloved fixture along Florida's Gulf Coast, known for its beachfront locations, casual atmosphere, and live entertainment. While Bradenton bids farewell to its Caddy’s outpost, the remaining locations are expected to eventually reopen, continuing the brand’s legacy in the region.
