Bradenton Police Arrest 70-Year-Old Fugitive Wanted for Felonious Sexual Assault on Children in New Hampshire
The Bradenton Police Department’s Crime Reduction Team (CRT) recently apprehended a 70-year-old fugitive from New Hampshire, David Duncan, who was wanted on multiple charges of felonious sexual assault on children. Duncan, under investigation by the Campton, NH Police Department since June 2024, was located in Bradenton, where he had been residing in a vehicle and using a local Post Office box.
Following the notification from Campton police regarding Duncan’s location in Florida, the Bradenton Police Department’s CRT tracked him down in September. Officers from Bradenton established a cordial rapport with the suspect to monitor his activities, while Campton detectives continued to work on the case. On November 1, the Campton Police Department secured arrest warrants for Duncan, leading to his swift and incident-free arrest by Bradenton PD.
Duncan faces multiple serious charges, including six counts of aggravated felony sexual assault on a minor, two counts of pattern aggravated felony sexual assault on a minor, and one count of felony sexual assault. Currently, Duncan is held at the Manatee County jail as he awaits extradition to New Hampshire, where he will face prosecution for his alleged crimes. Authorities have indicated that there is no evidence suggesting Duncan was involved in any criminal activities while in Bradenton.
