Bradenton Man Succumbs to Injuries After Hit-and-Run on U.S. 41, Investigation Ongoing
A 49-year-old Bradenton man, critically injured in a hit-and-run earlier this month, has died from his injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The crash occurred in the early hours of September 2 on U.S. Highway 41.
The man was reportedly found lying in the travel lane of the 5100 block when a northbound vehicle struck him and left the scene. Emergency responders rushed the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remained for over a week before passing away. His name has not been released to the public.
