Braden River Middle’s Zenon and Southeast High’s Page Honored as Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year in Manatee County
The School District of Manatee County has named Kimberlain Zenon of Braden River Middle School the Principal of the Year and Craig Page of Southeast High School the Assistant Principal of the Year. Both administrators will represent Manatee County in the Florida Department of Education’s annual Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year programs, recognizing outstanding school leaders across the state.
Zenon, who has led Braden River Middle School since 2019, is a seasoned educator with over two decades of experience in the district. Her career at Braden River Middle began in 1996 as a science teacher, a role she held for 16 years. During that time, she also served as a Renaissance coordinator, demonstrating her dedication to student development and school culture. In 2012, she transitioned into administrative roles, first as assistant principal at Braden River Middle and later at Lee Middle School before returning to Braden River as principal.
Page, Assistant Principal of the Year, has served at Southeast High School for the past four years. His journey in the Manatee County School District began at Braden River High School, where he spent nine years as a math and AVID teacher, as well as a baseball coach. After his time as a teacher, he served two years as dean before stepping into his current role as assistant principal at Southeast. Page’s experience has helped shape his approach to fostering student success and enhancing school environments.
As they advance to the state level, both Zenon and Page continue to make an impact in their respective schools and the community. Their recognition highlights their commitment to improving academic outcomes, fostering supportive learning environments, and building strong relationships with students, staff, and families in the district.
