Braden River High School Marching Band Crowned State Champions at FMBC
The Braden River High School Marching Band of Pirates claimed the prestigious title of State Champions at the Florida Marching Band Championships (FMBC) this weekend, securing top honors in the 2A classification category.
The annual event brought together talented marching bands from across Florida to compete and showcase their musical and visual artistry. Held in Palm Beach, the championship featured fierce competition, with schools vying for category recognition based on band size and performance level.
Joining Braden River in the 2A classification, Parrish Community High School’s Pride of Parrish Marching Band achieved an impressive fourth-place finish, highlighting their dedication and skill.
Representing Manatee County and beyond, other local schools participated across various classifications, including Lakewood Ranch High School, which competed in the 3A category.
