Anna Maria Fifth Grader’s Artwork Featured on Holmes Beach Police Patrol Car
A young artist from Anna Maria Elementary has left a lasting mark on the community with a winning design that now decorates a Holmes Beach Police Department patrol car.
As part of an annual contest encouraging students to showcase their creativity around the theme of police protecting the community, fifth-grader Kellen R. submitted a standout drawing that captured the spirit of public safety. The design was selected as the winner and transformed into a decal, which now proudly adorns the patrol car of School Resource Officer Christine.
To honor the achievement, Holmes Beach Police Chief William Tokajer presented Kellen with a special challenge coin, marking the occasion as a proud moment for the student and the island community.
This annual tradition strengthens the bond between law enforcement and local youth, celebrating creativity while reinforcing the important role officers play in keeping the community safe.
